Senica's Oak Ridge Golf Club in LaSalle was the setting for Illinois Valley’s own Dancing With The Stars, sponsored by Illinois Valley Cellular.
The sold out event was held May 18 to benefit nine charitable organizations in the area, including Friendship House.
Dancers Breck Debernardi and Eric Chambliss represented Friendship House, performing one ballroom dance and one show dance. In all, nine couples competed in the event, each benefiting a respective charity. Over 800 people were in attendance.
Judges for the event were Helga Interrante, Jay LeSeure and Patty Gray. Friendship House is grateful to Illinois Valley Cellular and the more than 100 volunteers who made Dancing With The Stars a success. The event raised $1,275.00 for Friendship House and each of the other agencies
